Toru who is a classmate of Hori and Miyamura has a secret crush on Hori and seeing them together asks Miyamura are they dating? To this Miyamura replies with a no and suggests him to ask Hori directly as he can’t say anything of him. He says that he thinks Hori san is just being nice to him after he helped her, that’s it.

Toru confesses and asks Hori out but she declines and gets really angry at Miyamura as he said mean things about Hori.
