In the previous episode of Vinland Saga Season 2, we saw that Arnheid went to help his husband even after the Old Master’s warning but then she was declined by Snake but then Snake went to see Mistress and a soldier go easy on her and allowed her to see his husband. Gardar was not having it all and he killed the man who helped Arnheid as soon as he got a chance.

Then they left the place after killing all the soldiers there and when Snake found out he said that he will kill Gardar himself. Then we saw Thorfinn and Einar talking about things that have been going on lately and Thorfinn also talked about the fertile land they used to talk about when he was in his village. The episode ended with guards coming to check the stable if Gardar and Arnheid are hiding there.

Vinland Saga Season 2 Episode 15 Recap

The last episode showed Gardar bruised as he was beaten up by guards and then we see Arnheid going to camp in the storm. Ketil’s wife ordered the guards to hand over Gardar to the guy’s uncle he killed. Snake then went to see her but it was not possible as there was a storm out there. Snake encountered Arnheid and outright declined her request to see her husband and told one of his men to take her back to the house.

After Snake left. the guy could not resist as he found Arnheid beautiful and he lied to his mates that Sanke gave her permission to see her husband. Then we saw the painful reunion of husband and wife and Gardar asked many times about their son without knowing the fact that he was taken by the attackers. Then suddenly rain came and all the guards went inside their tent while the guy alone was keeping watch on Arnheid and Gardar. Gardar attacked the guy as soon as he got a chance and bit him in the neck and that led to his death.

Then the event was soon discovered by other guards but Arnheid freed Gardar and Gardar then took care of all the other guards. After this happened, Snake came to know all that happened and one guard discovered that Gardar was stabbed by a sword. Snake was furious and said that he told them so many times that Gardar is a dangerous man and they should not put their guard down even for a minute.

Then he discovered that the wound must have been deep and then said that they will go and look for him right now and will settle this as soon as possible. Then we saw Einar sitting alone and then Thorfinn also came but Einar already figured that Thorfinn was keeping an eye on him in case Einar decides to do something stupid about the ongoing matter. Then we saw Thorfinn talking about war, and how he saw all of it and killed so many people for no reason at all.

He said that he hates himself for killing those people and the fact that he was not bothered by killing them. Then they both talked about Wars and Slavery and how they both are interconnected as a war creates so many slaves. Thorfinn talked about how Norse men are all about war and how they do not see any problem with that. Thorfinn then talked about the problems he faces and how he is not able to sleep because of the dreams he sees.

Then he told Einar about the faraway land that is fertile to grow wheat and they can live peacefully there. He even told him that Leif went there it was a tough journey. Einar said that this was something good he heard in a while. Then they saw guards coming to their stable and searched the place upside down but there was no Gardar or Arnheid. Einar and Thorfinn understood that they have ran from the camp and inside Old Master’s house we saw Snake with a very bad expression like he was determined to end Gardar.
